Comic Con Revolution 2022 in Ontario! I love working smaller shows like this because I find that people take their time and are more inclined to stop at each booth. And that’s such a great energy for exhibitors. This is our first con back since Covid shut everything down. Thanks to all the help from my gorgeous wife Katrina, we had the best sales weekend ever (in the whole eight years I’ve been exhibiting)!

So we did cosplay both days of the show (see pics below). One day was Geralt and Yennefer from The Witcher. Kat looked better than the real thing, and I looked like I needed to spend a few years in the gym to be a little more accurate. I tried the black sclera contacts for the first time (they cover your entire eye) – not easy to get in! I made us a little late getting there because I had so much trouble with them. Once I finally got them in, it was worth it for the look. We also went as Datak and Stahma from Defiance. The clothing was all white and subdued colors… literally the opposite of how we normally dress in all black. Kat made her chest piece from scratch. It was her first time building something like that, and it came out great! Her makeup was perfect, and it was the best I’ve ever seen that character cosplayed. We got a ton of compliments and picture requests both days.

I debuted the new Neon Cell artwork with a banner and flyer. The character may look familiar ;) We also announced that Kat is cowriting it with me. She’s an experienced writer/director/producer, so I am really excited to be teaming up with her on this project. It’s great to have a completely different perspective on things, and see how her talent elevates my work.

We’re both looking forward to seeing you at future shows!
